These systems are designed to convey material from storage and automatically dispense the correct amount of material into the mold with little operator intervention. We are currently providing two types of powder dispensing systems: Top Mounted and Floor Mounted.

The systems feature an operator activated mold identification system capable of identifying up to 65,000 molds. The PLC based control system stores the requirements for each mold and dispenses the correct type and weight of material to the mold through a hand-directed hose. The unique multi-position metering valve and load cell technology dispense material within 0.02 of a pound. A large digital display indicates the programmed shot size and the amount dispensed.

The PLC can control up to eight separate weighing hoppers for dispensing a variety of types or colors of materials. The data collection system is Windows® 98 compatible and can generate reports for inventory tracking and mold utilization.

The GraviMold systems use a weighing hopper design that can be configured to meet each customer's requirements.

Overhead models are available as single to four hopper units that mount directly over the mold area. Hopper sizes range from 25 to 100 pound capacity.

Floor mounted models are available that can hold up to 420 lbs of material.
