Rotational Molding Machine Control.

Ferry Industries' RotoCure 2000 System Manager© is based on the Windows® format to provide unprecedented control features for RotoSpeed™ rotational molding machines.

This easy-to-use system includes precise process control set-up and storage, detailed tracking capabilities, process trending, machine operations, fault monitoring and logging, and in-depth production data recording and management. RotoCure 2000 system allows for additional programming of variable-speed oven and cooling fans, multiple-path internal air, arm/mold positioning and multiple-step water delivery at the cooler. Capability to operate with other windows-based programs such as Rotolog, RotoCycle™ and InfraRed Thermometry (IRT) is another feature of this sophisticated system.

RotoCure 2000 System Manager© features an on-board Pentium™ equipped computer, tested and proven PLC, a full-color 14" SVGA monitor and full membrane keyboard. RotoCure© works through a series of menus that provide all the variables required for maximum production.

The RotoCure 2000 System Manager© is designed to link with an office computer for remote access to production data. This gives the capability to document and to analyze machine and shift operation and performance. The system includes the hardware and software to network with other RotoSpeed rotational molding machines, and offers password protection to access or change information, programs or functions.

RotoCure 2000 System Manager© is standard on most new models of Ferry RotoSpeed™ rotational molding machines, optional on all and can be installed on existing machines.

INFRARED THERMOMETRY (IRT)
 

InfraRed Thermometry System Control™ (IRT) exclusively from FERRY INDUSTRIES.

Consistency is an important key to rotational molding. IRT is the first self-adjusting control system for rotational molding machines to provide the consistency needed to accommodate the "real world" fluxuations molders encounter. By continuously monitoring the surface temperature of the mold, IRT can sense anomalies in the molding cycles that can cause scrap parts and automatically adjust oven or cool times to assure optimum product. For the first time, a rotational molding machine that is controlled by temperature, not time.

Changes in ambient conditions, mold changes, delays at the servicing station, oven or cooling malfunctions can require modifications to the programmed cycle. IRT automatically adjusts the oven or cooling times to compensate for any of these and assures that the molds exit the oven and cooler at the specified temperature.

Optimum cure cycle, consistent cooling results, reduced part damage due to problems at the service station and high-integrity of part properties every cycle, are all possible with the automatic, self-adjusting rotational molding machine control - InfraRed Thermometry™ from Ferry Industries.
