The Ferry CLAMSHELL single-station machine provides a
versatile, low capital investment machine for rotational molding. The
flexible independent cycle control capability of these machines is an
essential feature to meet the demands of today's marketplace for new or
current molders. Resins such as cross-linked polyethylene, LLDPE, nylon,
polycarbonate and other new polymers coming into the market can be
efficiently processed in our ClamShell machines. The ClamShell machines
are available in six sizes.

The unique Ferry SHUTTLE STYLE machine is expandable to
meet increasingly specialized product needs. The shuttle's modular
concept provides machines that have from one to three arm/carts, all
sharing a common oven. Shuttle carts index between the shared oven
chamber and the individual cooling/service areas. Each arm has it's own
cycle programming. Shuttle machines can be purchased initially as a
one-arm machine and later expanded.
The Ferry SHUTTLE range is an excellent system for the
manufacturing of large products such as kayaks, boat docks, lamp posts,
water and chemical tanks. These machines are also available in custom
sizes to accommodate very large products.

ROCKING OVEN machines are designed for molding long, slender
products. These machines can accept a single part up to the maximum mold
dimensions or multiple parts can be mounted on a spindle and run
simultaneously. Each machine is provided with one oven station, two
cooling stations and a load/unload station.
Continuous 360o
spindle rotation is maintained while rocking action is provided from 45o
left to 45o right. A standard software package provides for an
multiple rotation steps to assure uniform product wall thickness.

VERTICAL MACHINES optimize floor-space usage with efficient
three-station, ferris-wheel type indexing. RotospeedTM
Vertical Machines are designed for high-volume production of small
parts.
They are particularly suited for
PVC plastisol parts but are also used for rotomolding nylon, polyethylene and
polycarbonate.

LABORATORY MACHINES are single-arm, small-capacity machines for prototyping,
developing resins, colors and additives and other work where part of the molding
process needs to be monitored and recorded.
The RotospeedTM
Lab-1000 model is a single-arm machine with a 40" (1016mm) swing and
300-pound (135 kg.) weight capacity. Separate oven and cooler stations
correspond to real-world production methods. Electrically-heated or
gas-fired oven is available.

|
The RS-1400 Laboratory
machine is equipped with our "counter convection" oven design that is
exclusive to RotospeedTM machines. The
cooler assembly has a new design plenum assembly for increased cooling
efficiencies.
Among the standard features on
both of these machines is our RotoCure System Manager© computer controls
with 14" VGA color monitor and multiple-passage internal gas.

|
The ROTOLAB
semi-automatic machine consists of two stations with a single moving carriage
which holds the mold assembly. After curing in the oven station, the carriage
retracts to the second station for cooling and unloading after which the cycle
may be repeated.

Ferry also manufactures custom machines such as this six-arm,
fully-automated robotic turret machine, capable of 1400 part-per-hour,
for high-volume production of PVC parts.
