4:30 pm to 1:00 am. - Monday through Friday. Occasional Overtime.
Qualifications
Five years of experience in job-shop welding position doing Mig, Tig, and stick welding; brazing, flame cutting with acetylene torch. High school graduate or equivalent. Must have own hand tools required for position. Must be able to read blueprints, make layouts, fit up weldments and finish weld per drawings. Must be physically able to: lift 50 pounds, work 4-5 hour periods with ten-minute break. Be able to work in areas requiring bending, stooping, turning, twisting, etc.
Primary Duties
Must read and interpret detailed blueprints. Must have the ability and experience to perform highly diversified work in welding a wide variety of various-sized fabrications, with a minimum of supervision using complicated drawings; hold tolerances as required by drawings; make layouts, fit weldments, pre-heat, weld, post-heat, straighten, bend, bow, and burn as required by the blueprints.
